Finland lies in northern Europe. In the north it borders with Norway and Sweden. On the east it borders with Russia. The Baltic Sea washes its western border. One fifth of the area lies north of the Arctic circle.Finland is a country of a thousand lakes. As a guideline, there are more than 60,000. The highest point in Finland is peak Haltiatunturi with its 1328 meters. Politically, is divided into six provinces.
