Lake of Como
The lake is characteristic for its shape, which reminds visitors of the letter Y. Even Stendhal was amazed by the beauty of the scenery and described it grandiosely in one of his masterpieces. The lake itself is picturesque as well as the villages and towns surrounding its sides, some of which can be reached only by boat. The only drawback is that swimming in the lake is not recommended.

Hotel Bazzoni
Bazzoni stylish hotel is located in the center of Tremezzo, directly across Lake Como and offers spectacular views.
The Como Lake is 51 km long and stretches in the valley of Rhaetian Alps.
Como, the town, with its 90,000 inhabitants is not very attractive for tourists, still it is a good starting point for trips on the lake and in surrounds.
Isola Comacina, the only island of this lake, used to be a refuge place of longobard kings while fleeding from invaders. source RenyTravel
